IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - 29/10/19

Due to injuring her hand, Anna Fedorova has had to cancel this Thursday's performance. We have however managed to book an excellent replacement - Pianist Andrew Tyson.

Hailed by BBC Radio 3 as “a real poet of the piano,” American pianist Andrew Tyson is emerging as a distinctive and important new musical voice. In 2015, he won First Prize at the Géza Anda Competition in Zürich, and he is also a laureate of the Leeds International Piano Competition where he won the new Terence Judd-Hallé Orchestra Prize. At the Juilliard School, New York he won the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition and received the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Prize. These successes led to many concert invitations and he now has performed with orchestras across America and Europe. Highlights this season include a return to the Hallé and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras as well as his debut with the Flanders Symphony Orchestra. His solo recital performances have taken him to Japan, China and the Far East as well as Europe and his own country. He has three recital discs on the Alpha Classics label. - The complete Chopin Preludes as well as works by Scriabin and Ravel. His latest disc, Landscapes, features works by Mompou, Albéniz, Scarlatti and Schubert. The album title takes its name from Federico Mompou’s Paisajes, which are “landscapes of the mind as much as intimate, yet vivid depictions of Spain”.

Tickets booked for Anna Fedorova are still valid
