IX47 is proud to be conducting an intensive two day Android Hands-On programming course in London. This course covers the essentials of Android programming. Our goal is to make sure you are confident enough to create and submit your first App with the Google Play Store.

So what's in the course ?

We will be covering the following topics: -

- Model-View-Controller (MVC)

- Activity Controller Lifecycle

- XML View Design

- Debugging Android apps

-Camera Capture (Capturing the input from the device's camera)

- Location Tracking

- Fragments for Dynamic UI

- Presenting data in a Table with RecyclerView

- Editing table data

- Customising table cells

- Adding navigation menus

- Dealing with multiple screen sizes

- Saving and Retrieving data

- Using SQLite database

- Consuming a WebService

- Submitting an app on the Google Play Store

Do I need to have previous programming experience ?

Yes! You need to know basic programming, desirably in an Object Oriented language like Java, Visual Basic .NET, C# or C++.

Do I need to bring something with me ?

Yes! You will need the following:-

1- A laptop/computer with the latest Android Studio installed on it. (ideally, but we can help you with that)

2- An Android device, if you have one. (optional)

3- Eagerness to create Android apps!
