Andy Rider: leads a discernment day - discovering Gods purpose for me.
Overview
A Quiet Day led by Andy Rider
5th September
A Discernment Day
– discovering God’s purpose for me, and my next step.
In 2018 the Church of England published Life is for giving written by Andy, outlining a discernment model that 100’s of Anglican interns, discerners and ordinands have used to understand and become sure of God’s call on their life.
During this Quiet day Andy will creatively use this to enable participants to explore their own sense of purpose and calling. A great day for anyone wondering where God may be calling them both now and in the long term.
Andy is a bi-vocational Anglican priest working as Dean of Mission in London’s East End and as Director of Chaplaincy Services for Langley Trust. He is also a Prebendary of St Pauls Cathedral. He has ministered in central and east London for over 30 years seeing many young people discern God’s call, into new areas of work, relationship, leadership, vocation and professional ministry.
We look forward to welcoming you to our extraordinary urban oasis. Where as well as input from Andy you can take time to pause, pray and be.
The day will include welcome coffee and pastries, lunch and an afternoon pot of tea and cake. Or maybe book to stay overnight in one of our lovely en-suite bedrooms and make the most of taking some time aside.
Any non-chargeable cancellations should be made at least 7 days prior to the day of arrival. A 100% cancellation fee will be made for any late cancellations or non-arrivals.
Kindly note that any refunds will exclude Eventbrite and or administration fees.
