Do I have to attend all the sessions?

We ask that you make every effort to attend all four sessions. Each session builds on the last, and missing one can disrupt the group’s continuity and your own learning process.

What if I want to leave partway through the series?

Accepted Answer

You are free to leave the series at any time if it no longer feels right for you. We encourage you to discuss this privately with one of the facilitators, outside of the group sessions, so we can understand and support your decision.

What is your refund policy?

If you decide to leave the series after the first session, we are able to offer a refund. However, we’re not able to offer refunds beyond that point. This policy helps us maintain consistency in the group and plan effectively.

Participants agree to a shared set of principles, including respecting the privacy of others’ personal stories and experiences. No, the sessions will not be recorded. Angels of History prioritises creating a safe and confidential space where participants can share openly. The absence of recordings helps maintain the integrity of this environment and encourages authentic expression.

Each session lasts 2 hours and includes a short break. The format combines group discussion and listening, with time in both the full group and smaller breakout groups. No, these sessions are not a form of therapy and are not facilitated as clinical or therapeutic interventions. What if a participant feels overwhelmed or vulnerable during or after a session?

These conversations can be emotionally stirring and may require a degree of aftercare. If a participant feels overwhelmed or vulnerable, one of the facilitators will offer one-to-one support between sessions to provide care and continuity.

What if I don’t know much about Judaism, politics, or history?

That’s absolutely fine. These sessions are not about having the “right” answers or being an expert. They’re about exploring, listening, questioning, and reflecting. Curiosity, openness, and a willingness to engage are what matter most.
