Did you know? Back in 1974, Don Cornelius, Dick Griffey, and Carrie Lucas launched the Soul Train Club to bring the energy of the TV show to the dance floor. Just a year later, they formed Soul Train Records, which later became part of the legendary Solar Records, giving us timeless music from artists like Shalamar, The Whispers, Midnight Star, and so many more! Today, the legacy lives on, owned by Carrie Lucas, Carolyn Griffey of Shalamar, Lucas Griffey, and Jessie Tsang.
