Join us for an engaging public event that will showcase the exciting results of two innovative Fisheries Industry Science Partnership (FISP) projects: Angling for Sustainability and Pollack FISP. These projects have been working with fishers to collect vital data on black bream, elasmobranchs and pollack, to inform evidence-based fisheries management. We will celebrate the collaborations made through these projects.

The conference will consist of presentations from project researchers, partner, and guest speakers. This will be followed by an evening networking event at The Loft, Sutton Harbour, Plymouth PL4 0DN (6 pm onwards - in-person only) - PLEASE NOTE THE EVENING EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day and evening.

About the projects

Angling for Sustainability is led by the University of Plymouth in partnership with the Professional Boatmans Association, Natural England, the Southern Inshore Fisheries Conservation Authority and the Angling Trust.

Pollack FISP is led by the University of Plymouth, in partnership with the Angling Trust, the Professional Boatman’s Association and the University of York.
