Increasingly, angling clubs and fisheries need to obtain external funding to finance improvements to facilities and equipment, run projects and events, or make habitat improvements. Competition can be severe, but there are ways to improve your chances of success.
The Angling Trust is hosting evening workshops through the year to give guidance to clubs, fisheries and other angling providers on 'making effective funding applications'. We hope you can attend these, whether you are intending to apply to the Angling Improvement Fund or to other funders.
Following a general introduction to fundraising and some general principles for making good applications, we will look at the Angling Improvement Fund in more detail. We will share details of other sources of national and regional funding available and there will be a chance to discuss your current project ideas and proposals with Angling Trust staff.
