Animal Language writing workshop with Susan Richardson
Sat 3 December 2016, 11:00 – 17:00 GMT
Join Susan Richardson for an innovative writing workshop themed around animal voices and language. Experiment with speaking seal, writing owl and translating wolf into human. You'll have the opportunity to explore both prose and poetry if you wish or to concentrate on your choice of genre. Sound prompts and examples of published writing will trigger inspiration and there'll also be time for receiving helpful group feedback on what you've written. Both beginners and more experienced writers are very welcome.
Biography: Susan Richardson is a poet, performer, educator and editor whose third collection of poetry, skindancing, themed around human-animal metamorphosis, was published by Cinnamon Press in 2015.
