For this first time in 2021, Puppet Animation Scotland presents an online programme of the some of the best independent animation from around the world for children and their families. Eccentric, adventurous and full of creativity, our programme of miniature tales is suitable for all children from age 7+ and their families to watch together this Easter holidays.  

The programme offers the chance not only to watch animation but also to try your hand at making your own, with short video tutorials from leading animators sharing simple animation activities for families to try at home. 

Once you reserve your ticket, you will receive a link to watch all of the films at the pace which suits you, with all films remaining online for three days. 

Tickets to the event are free to ensure that all families can afford to access them, but we ask you to consider selecting a donation ticket at the suggested value of £3, to enable our charity to continue supporting independent animation and puppetry in Scotland.

This event is a part of the annual Puppet Animation Festival 2021. The UK's longest running performing arts event for families is back, offering young people the chance to discover, escape and create this Easter. Experience puppetry performances, workshops and animated films from the comfort of your own home throughout the Easter holiday, running from 5 - 17 April.
