Got a young storyteller or budding animator at home? They’ll love our fun and creative 4-day Animation Week!
Join us for a fun, hands-on week where young people can bring their ideas to life through animation.
Throughout the week, we’ll be exploring:
🧱 LEGO stop-motion
🤲 Clay animation
📱 Digital animation on iPads
✂️ Paper puppet animation
Each session will build on the last, and at the end of the week, we’ll come together to watch the finished film in a special premiere-style viewing!
Every session kicks off with chill time (games, chats, and getting settled) before diving into the main activity of the day. We also make time to get outside, stretch our legs, and enjoy a tasty, healthy meal together.
Who can get involved?
This camp is for young people aged 11-16 from Halton who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.
Limited places are also available for other groups of young people, including those with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities), young carers, NEET (not in education, employment or training), and more.

Monday 11th - Thursday 14th August, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. (4-days)

Grangeway Community Centre, Grangeway, Runcorn, WA7 5HA
How much does it cost?
This project is funded by Halton Borough Council and the Department for Education for young people from Halton who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals, therefore it is free to attend.
What equipment should I bring?
Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
