Fri, Aug 19, 2016, 12:30 PM – Sat, Aug 20, 2016, 4:00 PM BST
#LawFest 2016 ...yay \0/
The inaugural #LawFest in 2014 was inspiring. A place for conversation, exploration and for sharing in the context of creative arts where we listened, discussed and participated.
We are therefore delighted to announce #LawFest 2016 in Cheltenham over two days in August.
Day One will be Friday 19 August from 12:30pm to 6pm, and
Day Two will be Saturday 20 August from 10am to 4pm.
Tickets can be purchased now for either day or both days.
What is #LawFest 2016
Well, it isn’t a legal conference! It is a generous, open and interactive experience for all lawyers whatever their experience, whatever their role. It is for in-house lawyers, law firm lawyers, academics, trainees and students.
What will you do?
Share and learn with a gentle mix of amazing people, live music, creative workshops, great coffee and stimulating debate. A comfort zone to massage the mind and to enjoy a reflective space about what lawyers do, can do, must do.
The programme includes Claire Lomas, former equestrian athlete and inspirational fundraiser for spinal injury research. Martin Shovel, internationally renowned cartoonist and communication expert, Fiona Laird, theatre director and voice coach, and George Freeman recently appointed by Theresa May to be her Chair of the Prime Minister's Policy Board. We have live music, a book stall with meet the author sessions and more.

#LawFest needs your support and profits to charity
We do need your support to set up and deliver this wonderful programme, nothing can happen without an audience! We therefore need ticket sales to reach a minimum level so please do not delay your booking. Our promise to you is twofold, first if very reluctantly we have to cancel the event then your money will be refunded in full, but second, if we can go ahead, then all profits will be donated to charities we are close to both locally and nationally. This programme is not about making money for us, it is about creating something joyful and making a difference...
We would love it to happen, please help make it so...
