About this event

The 2024 NAHT Annual Conference is being held at the ICC, Newport, South Wales

The conference will involve AGM, debate and policy-making, and delegates will hear addresses from the general secretary, incoming national president and guest speakers.

Those attending the conference will also have the opportunity to engage with our conference sponsors and network with colleagues.

Please note you will need your membership number to book a space at the conference. There is a 60-minute time limit on the booking page, we recommend having all of your details ready in advance.

Conference documents and information

All conference attendees will receive final conference information by email, including the conference programme, AGM handbook, conference documentation, and hotel details by the middle of April 2024.

All registered delegates are expected to attend the whole of the conference, including the AGM. Conference registration opens at midday on Friday, 3 May, and closes at 1600 on Saturday, 4 May, followed by Gala Dinner.

Partners

Delegates bringing partners should note that non-members can only attend the regional and gala dinners, and both dinner and hotel supplements apply. These costs are listed on the next page, and additional tickets must be selected.

If you have any questions, please contact events@naht.org.uk

Travel expenses

Finance & Personnel Committee will allow reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses (mileage or standard class train) for voting delegates. Ticket receipts must be provided with expense forms. If driving, only the driver is entitled to claim mileage, and £10 car parking fee per day will be covered. We encourage car sharing.

Coaches have been organised throughout the event to ensure you are picked up from Newport train station, to and from the hotel and back to the station after the event. Due to the high parking prices, we advise delegates to park & leave their car at the ICC Wales throughout the event.

If this will be difficult for you, please inform us in the booking form under 'any reasonable adjustments'.
