Darlith Flynyddol y Gyfraith: Yr Athro Christine Chinkin

Trais yn erbyn menywod a Chonfensiwn Istanbul

Mae trais yn erbyn menywod yn fath o drais sy'n seiliedig ar ryw, sydd yn cael ei gyflawni yn erbyn menywod yn syml, oherwydd eu bod nhw’n fenywod. Mae’r academydd a’r ymarferydd enwog, yr Athro Christine Chinkin, yn siarad o'i phrofiad proffesiynol helaeth ynghylch y mater hwn.

Bydd Jeremy Miles, yr AC dros Gastell-nedd a Chwnsler Cyffredinol Cymru, yn cyflwyno'r Athro Chinkin, ac yn trafod polisi a deddfwriaeth arloesol Llywodraeth Cymru yn y maes hwn.

Charlesworth, am ‘gyfraniadau rhagorol mewn datblygu neu wireddu cyfraith hawliau dynol rhyngwladol yn effeithiol'.

Mae hi'n Athro Cyfraith Fyd-eang William C Cook yn Ysgol y Gyfraith Prifysgol Michigan. Mae hi wedi dal apwyntiadau gwadd yn Awstralia, yr Unol Daleithiau, Singapore a Gweriniaeth Pobl Tsieina.
