Our 2017 Annual Meeting (for CIPD North Yorkshire Members) and Evening Event will take place on Tuesday 9 May. For ease of transport, we have chosen a central York venue, The Grand Hotel & Spa, so that the event is more easily accessible to those who travel via public transport, being walking distance from York Station and central bus stops, as well as being close to city centre carparks. We are hoping that this will allow more Members from across North Yorkshire to join us.
Following our short formal meeting, and picking up on the high level of interest in our January seminars (and our soon to be launched Special Interest Group), we'll be focussing on the topic of 'Wellness at Work', and are pleased to announce that Dr Tim Anstiss will be joining us for the evening.
You can find out more about Tim and his work/research on Compassion in the Workplace at:
A couple of weeks after our Annual Meeting, Tim will be heading over to Madrid for the inaugural International Congress on Mindfulness & Compassion @ Work, which takes place on 25th & 26th May. Where he'll be a Keynote speaker, and also leading a Masterclass on Compassion at Work - so we are delighted that he has agreed to join us in York.
More details about Tim's session will follow soon, but in the meantime, please do book your place as soon as possible so that we have a good idea of numbers etc for our budgets.
