- An evening of festive fun looking back at the Union’s 2015-16 work & student achievements
- Including party games, prizes, festive nibbles and refreshments
- Vote on Union affiliations and policies, put your questions to Student Representatives
- Christmas jumpers, and elf hats encouraged!
It's time to dust off those Christmas jumpers and get in the festive spirit!
The Union's festive Annual Members Meeting (AMM) is taking place on Thursday 1st December from 5pm at the Union.
AMM is the Union’s Annual General Meeting. AMM is required by law and helps us to communicate the Union's work with our members and ensure important policies and affiliations are agreed by students.
Join us for some festive food and refreshments as we look back at the previous academic year and discover what’s to come in the future.
There will also be party games and prizes throughout the evening (and nibbles and refreshments) and an opportunity to jump in our photobooth in a silly hat. Whilst the business of AMM is important, it's good to celebrate together the end of the first term and look back some students successes.
Find out more about the agenda activities at www.upsu.net/amm.
All students are invited and booking is recommended.

Grant a Wish
To help us get into the festive spirit, the Union is readying to make with the magic and help some student wishes come true.
Let us be your fairy godmother this December, submit your wish online and we may just grant it! Wishes will be granted on 1st December at the Union’s Annual Members Meeting (AMM).
Your wishes can be very big (like your coach or train fare to get home for Christmas) or really small (a fluffy Union hoody to keep you warm or a new shelf to replace the missing on from your oven).
To have a wish considered by our Union elves, you just need to complete your details below.
The Union has a small pot of £300 to help fulfil the wishes of Portsmouth students. Student groups can also submit a wish for something to help their cause.
Terms and conditions:
- You cannot wish for more wishes
- The elves will only grant true wishes
- Only ONE of each wish can be granted

- Those on the naughty list need not apply
