Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter: Communicating Risk & Uncertainty

This year's lecture will be delivered by Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter, Chair of the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication, at 3pm on 21st October 2019. The theme of the lecture will be "Communicating Risk and Uncertainty."

This is the 6th edition in the annual Cambridge Public Health Lecture series. The event presents an opportunity for public health researchers, policymakers and professionals to come together and hear from public health leaders, as well as discover and discuss the latest Cambridge public health research. Previous lecture speakers include Professor John Ioannidis, Dr Flavia Bustreo, Professor Dame Sally Davies and Dr Julio Frenk.

The lecture will be followed by a networking drinks reception at 4pm with research poster presentations from CIPH and PublicHealth@Cambridge Network members.
