About this Event

This popular annual event is going virtual with a great line-up of speakers discussing the issues for business leaders facing new ethical challenges, post-Covid-19, at no cost to register.

The conference will take place virtually over two days, Friday, November 6th , 11 am - 6 pm GMT, and Saturday, November 7th , 11 am - 6 pm GMT in four sessions: morning and afternoon.

The hot topics covered include the impact of shareholder activism, new approaches to finding personal integrity, alternative business structures, the latest and more time-honoured practices that drive better decision-making, individual responsibility, employee well-being and return on investment.

Hear the latest case studies and research on radical new approaches by some of the world’s leading corporations. Be inspired by influential speakers at the forefront of sustainable and transformational business practices.

Speakers so far confirmed include:

  • Mike Smith - Initiatives of Change (UK and Switzerland)
  • Christine Abbott - Centre for Action Learning (UK)
  • Rory Ridley-Duff - Professor of Cooperative Social Entrepreneurship at Sheffield Business School
  • Stephen Allen - Lecturer in Organisation Studies, The University of Sheffield Management School
  • Edouard Dommen - Actares Shareholder Activism (Switzerland)
  • Anders Etxeberria - Mondragon Corporation - the world’s largest cooperative (based in the Basque country)
  • Paul Henderson-Grey - CEO, The Quiet Company

This is a free event but we would usually charge £30 - £50 for a conference ticket. We have decided to waive this fee and instead invite you to donate to the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre which has lost our conference booking and is facing a huge financial challenge.

Please donate at this page, using the reference 'QB Conf' . Thank you.

All Q&B action is done voluntarily by our members.
