'Another World': A Screening of International Short Films

Part of the 2018 Watersprite Film Festival, this screening explores other worlds. Each film, beautifully crafted with stunning set design and cinematography creates spaces that take us far from our reality. We are lucky enough to be joined by the filmmakers from all over the world to take part in Q & A after the screening.

// A Place For Everything // (UK)
Whilst searching for his missing stapler at work, Daniel, an ordinary man accidentally finds himself in the lost and found of the universe; a place filled with everything that has ever been lost. It is here where Daniel must work with the lost and found's mysterious caretaker to recover what he has lost.

// Zorn dem Volke // (Germany)
During an environmental catastrophe Nikolai is desperately trying to preserve humanistic values in the largest refugee camp in front of the reinforced northern European border.

// Ernie // (USA) *
The filmmakers have constructed a world entirely out of cardboard boxes to tell the lovely story of Ernie, whose suicide attempt rips a whole in his cardboard ceiling and leads him to form a friendship with a young boy who lives below.

* CNs : suicide

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start in order to secure your place, and have a look at the other screenings during the festival!
