Frequently asked questions

Can I attend if I’m planning to bottle feed?

Absolutely. This session is open to all expectant parents, whatever your feeding plans. While there is a focus on breastfeeding, we’ll also talk about bonding, feeding cues, and how to feel confident in those early days - all of which are helpful no matter how you choose to feed your baby.

Can my partner or a friend come too?

Definitely! We encourage partners and supporters to come along - they play a big role in your feeding journey and are very welcome.

When in pregnancy should I attend?

Anytime from your second trimester onwards is perfect. Many parents join us between 28–36 weeks, but you’re welcome whenever it feels right for you.

What if I’ve already had a baby before?

You're still very welcome. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, every experience is different and it can be a great chance to refresh your knowledge, ask new questions, or build confidence.

Is it OK if I don’t know how I want to feed yet?

Yes! This session is all about giving you the information and support to explore your options and make the right decision for you and your baby.
