Event description

Description

Every week a different person tells me they ‘feel they should do more networking’ or they ‘know networking is important to winning new business but they’re not that sort of person’.

Networking is a terrible word. It conjures up images of dry events full of old men in suits and of meaningless small talk with strangers. It evokes fears of someone looking at your badge and walking away having decided you’re insufficiently important to warrant their attention. Even when you make the effort it doesn’t seem to convert into new business.

It doesn’t have to be like that… everyone can be a good networker, it’s just building relationships and we all do that regularly.

Aimed at practice owners, architects, engineers and other professionals for whom work winning is an additional responsibility, this workshop will help you:

- Identify the relationships you want and need to build to support your business

- Work out how best to do that in a way which suits your personality and practice

- Gain confidence to build a strong network

- Navigate events, when only an event will do

Group size is limited.

When: 26th February

Time: 4.30 – 6.30pm

Where: Build Studios, nr London Waterloo Station

I help architects, engineers and other consultants across the built environment to win the right work. I’m a trained coach and experienced marketing specialist. More about me and AreBe here: www.arebemarketing.co.uk
