Description

Join Textile Designer and fabric print specialist Faye McNulty and create your own Balla-inspired printed scarf. Following a discussion on Balla’s Futurist vision for fashion and how current designers use inspiration from art to create collections, you will see how Futurism is present in contemporary fashion design; from modern day sportswear to collections by Alexander McQueen, Paco Rabanne and Pierre Cardin. Using dyes to paint, collage and draw, you will have chance to create a functional and unique textile.

£20 or £17 for members. Paper, dyes, utensils and fabric will be provided. This textile print course is suitable for all levels.
