Anxiety Disorders and Panic Attacks Training
Overview
This 3-hour workshop provides participants with tools and strategies to better understand and manage anxiety. It explores common forms of anxiety, including generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety, panic attacks, and obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Participants will learn about the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural patterns that perpetuate anxiety and explore tools to support themselves or others and break these cycles. The workshop will also address the role of avoidance and the importance of aligning actions with personal values to gain control back. The workshop also introduces aspects of self-compassion techniques, mindfulness approaches and exercises to foster emotional resilience. By the end, attendees will leave with practical tools and a deeper understanding of how to manage anxiety in their daily lives or support those around them.
