Event Details

Part of a series of monthly webinars aimed at the veterinary community. Cats and Domestication - a road less traveled. The domestication process is intended to enhance a species' capacity to cope with co-existing with humans in a human world. This process takes time, but our understanding of the time-frame for feline domestication suggests a relatively short period in comparison to other domesticated species (e.g. the dog or horse). This webinar examines the potential problems that this relatively short journey to domestication may create with regards to the cats' capacity to comply with owner expectations and includes a consideration of feline communication and play, hunting and social behaviour. Presented by Claire Hargrave A certificate of attendance will be provided to attendees. Please note webinar bookings cannot be refunded.
