The London Adult Neuro CEN are pleased to host Professor Linda Worrall for a day of experiential learning incorporating functional therapy approaches with Aphasia. The programme for the day will be guided by attendees. We will contact you once you have purchased your ticket to inform you how to influence the day's content.
Linda Worrall is a speech pathologist with a particular interest in aphasia rehabilitation. Her research has focused on aphasia rehabilitation after stroke and goal setting. Linda is a professor and co-director of the Communication Disability Centre at the University of Queensland, Australia.
In 2009 she was awarded a 5 year NHMRC CCRE in Aphasia Rehabilitation and leads the national research effort towards developing an Australian Aphasia Rehabilitation Pathway. In 2014 Professor Worrall was the recipient of The Robin Tavistock Award for her outstanding contribution to aphasia research.

Deadline – ticket sales will close 7 days before the event or before if the event has reached capacity.
Refunds – please note refunds will only be given at the committee’s discretion and should be requested at least 72 hours prior to the event.
Handouts - In order to keep costs to a minimum, we are not planning on providing handouts on the day but hope to email all presentations to all registered attendees 2 days prior to the study day. We hope you understand.
Lunch – lunch will be provided. Please inform us via email if you have specific dietary requirements.
