Learn to Love Executive Summaries
Influence and galvanise your customers
Will reviewers stand up and applaud after reading your executive summary? It sets the tone for your submission, but reviewers tell us that these bid cornerstones sometimes fall short in terms of clarity, energy and readability.
What are the secret ingredients that draw your reader in, make them feel informed and provide confidence in the integrity of your plans for delivery and continuity of service?
For this training event, Marcus Eden-Ellis, a master of the executive summary, will take delegates through the worst examples and demonstrate in depth (and with humour) the most common and painful mistakes that could let your organisation down. By inviting you to join in, Marcus will shape your awareness of the customer’s viewpoint, building your skills and making you aware of traps for the unwary.
At the end of this interactive and hands-on workshop you will be able to apply principles that work every time and which will also be useful in many other aspects of your role. You’ll also receive a copy of a model executive summary as a reminder of the techniques you’ve learnt and be looking forward to the next opportunity to use them.
Whether you’re new to the bid profession or a seasoned expert, you can’t afford to miss this opportunity to draw enduring lessons from Marcus’ distinctive and stimulating style and his experience, gained from all industry sectors.
About our speaker: Prior to founding Bid Perfect, Marcus Eden-Ellis was Commercial Director for Office Depot in the UK and Ireland. This, along with his previous positions at companies such as Corporate Express (Director of Global Bids) and Xerox (Sales Director - Local Government) allowed him to develop his competitive bid writing skills which have helped organisations he works with win many large national and international contracts.
Bid Perfect delivers highly-rated bid training programmes across the UK and internationally.
