Through 2023, Matt Warman MP, new co-chair of the APPG into the Future of Work, and former lead for the Government’s Future of Work Review, is completing a review with his co-chair Lord Jim Knight and with support from IFOW as strategic research partner.

In the context of the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, this event will be focused on AI regulation and workplace data protections and freedoms.

During the event, speakers will explore some of the following questions:

What are the particular new challenges that the use of AI/algorithmic systems at work present?
What are the legal gaps that these new challenges expose?
How can these legal gaps be filled when designing, developing and deploying workplace AI systems?
How important are the principles of 'good work' when as part of building a responsible AI ecosystem? Could new digital information principles help?
