Piscopia St Andrew's is hosting an information event to provide students information on either a Career in Industry or applying for a PhD. We will to answer all your questions surrounding the application process for the two options to help you decide and also strengthen your application.

The target audience for this event is female and non binary maths students. However, everyone is welcome including PhD students, academic staff and students from other STEM subjects are very welcome to attend.

We have two speakers, Professor James Mitchell, Director of Postgraduate Studies in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Who will talk about the options fo PhD studies and the application process. University of St Andrew's Careers Advisor, Dr Philip Ireland will give a talk on options for careers in industry and the application process.
