About this event
The University of Cumbria, through its award-winning Project Academy, and Aspire Europe, with its international reputation for Programme and Business Change Management, are collaborating to offer the following programmes:
- Graduate Certificate in Applied Programme Management
- Graduate Certificate Business Change Management
We have created this programme specifically for existing and up and coming Programme Managers (and Business Change Managers) who have completed courses such as Managing Successful Programmes, and who want to challenge themselves to move up to the next level of understanding and performance.
The course has been developed as a direct response from employers who have identified a gap in the provision of education and training in Transformation Programme Management at the Higher Education level.
Join us, to find out more about how these programmes can help you be more effective in your role.
Hosted by Jeremy Benson from the University of Cumbria and Rod Sowden from Aspire Europe. Jeremy is the programme lead for our MSc in Coaching & Leadership and Rod is the MD of Aspire Europe and Lead Author for MSP® and P3M3®.
Aims
- To develop participants further as effective Programme Management practitioners
- To further develop participants' ability to operate as reflective Programme Management practitioners
- To assist participants to embed appropriate knowledge and skills gained from participation in relevant industry-based CPD training activity in their practice
- To develop participants' ability to synthesise, evaluate and transfer learning between the academy and workplace
Who will benefit

- Managers in a PMO (Portfolio, Programme or Project Office) and want to support and improve the performance of their organisation.
