Are you a refugee or seeking asylum in the UK and thinking of applying to university?

This information session, organised by STAR, can help you find and apply for university scholarships that are specifically for refugees and people seeking asylum.

You may need financial support with your tuition fees and living costs while studying. Many universities offer ‘sanctuary’ scholarships and bursaries that can help. This session will give you information about what is available and how to apply.

How do I attend?

STAR campaigns for and supports the creation of scholarships to improve access to university for people who are seeking asylum or from a refugee background. Nearly 90 UK universities now offer scholarships for applicants who are seeking asylum or have refugee status, humanitarian protection, limited leave to remain and other related immigration statuses.
