Appreciation of Hydraulic Power Systems within the Extractives and Mineral Processing Industry

The Institute of Quarrying has teamed up with the National Fluid Power Centre to deliver this course on appreciation of Hydraulic Power Systems within the Extractives & Mineral Processing Industry.
The course is aimed at fitters, maintenance and contractors for the industry.
Consisting of a 1 day training intervention spilt into two parts, AM & PM looking at specific issues relating to fluid power.
Classroom based focussing on:
1. Health & Safety
2. The Do's and Dont's of pressure systems
3. Cleanliness and the importance works undertaken
1. Practical H&S when working with hydraulics
2. Practical inspection
3. Correct connection
4. Basic fault finding
5. Pressure testing
Delegates will be required to bring clean overalls and safety boots to the session for the practical exercises. Lunch is provided and included in the cost.
