Event description

Description

We are hoasting Free apprenticeship CPD's for school and college teachers and careers practitioners as part of the Apprenticeships Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) project.

Following on from the success of last year's CPD sessions, we are happy to announce that we will be running these workshops for a second year. This event on Friday 6th July 2018 has been organised by Education and Employers, the charity behind Inspiring the Future and delivery partners of the ASK project, run as part of the National Apprenticeship Service, in London and the South.

It will allow the opportunity to explore the following learning outcomes:

  • Understand the latest updates around apprenticeships including higher and degree.

  • Understand the latest research on apprenticeships – including best practice of schools with proven abilities to support young people into apprenticeships.

  • Wider understanding of free support available to increase understanding of apprenticeships for young people.

  • Opportunity to hear from and speak to an apprentice/employer about the apprenticeship process.

  • Networking opportunity.

  • Walk away with a delegate pack of resources to use in school.

Please note these sessions are for teachers and careers advisers in schools and colleges only.

The same session will be held on the other following dates at the same venue:

  • Friday 23rd February, 9.30 - 14.00 https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/apprenticeship-cpd-tickets-41417164855#/signin/signup
