Apprenticeship Forum.

For: Apprentices across Leicestershire.

Live Training Event - Monday 13 October 2025 from 10.00am - 12.00pm

We are proud to launch our new Online Apprenticeship Forum (Level 2 and 3)– an opportunity for apprentices across Leicestershire to connect and support each other as you undertake this qualification. You will be able to share best practice and engage in discussions around topics which will build your knowledge and skills of working in the childcare sector. Not only will you enhance your own learning – but you will be able to include these sessions in your ‘off the job’ training logs!!

This is an interactive session where participation is mandatory – to attend the requirements are cameras on for the duration and you will need to be in a quite space where you are able to speak freely and engage within the tasks. The sessions will include:

1) Introductions

2) Starter activities

3) Topic questions – to reflect on experiences and share best practice

4) Delivery from guest speakers

5) Reflection and close

Are you a manager of a setting who is currently supporting Apprentices at either level 2 or 3?

Managers:

• Could your apprentice benefit from attending a bespoke session to support their engagement with the qualification?
• Could your apprentice benefit from making connections with others currently working towards the same qualification – but is outside their workplace and training provider?
• Would your apprentice benefit from attending training around the duties – to support their knowledge, skills and behaviours?
• Would you like your apprentices to receive time to reflect and receive training to enhance their practice – which can be counted towards their ‘off the job’ hours?

If so, then please support by encouraging your Apprentices to book onto the Apprenticeship Forum – an opportunity for them to build connections and receive relevant training and support, as well as an opportunity to reflect and enhance their practice 😊

We are keen to develop these sessions to meet what you needs of apprentices today – and therefore invite you to complete the additional questions ahead of the session, so we can seek your views on areas which will best support your personal development, plan suitable training and invite guest speakers who specialise on a specific topic, with time dedicated to allow you to reflect on your practice and share your progress with others.
