Apprenticeship levy – research, proposal development and contracting- Sessi...
Tue 2 May 2017, 09:00 – 13:00 BST
The launch of the apprenticeship levy looks set to transform the market for vocational training, heralding the biggest expansion in investment in vocational training for a generation.
Many providers and colleges have been developing their approaches to securing levy business for months, but there remain many levy-paying employers yet to decide their future apprenticeship strategies. Furthermore, Sheffield City Region (SCR) has comparatively few large employers headquartered in the local area, meaning that providers and colleges will have to work with head offices outside SCR to draw more levy spend into the local area.
Delivered over two sessions, delegates attending this pair of workshops will benefit from
Unique insight into key data about levy-paying employers in SCR
An exploration of how information can be used to understand what will motivate employers to use their levy
How apprenticeship providers can use data as a foundation for identifying target markets and levy strategies
The opportunity to work on live case studies, developing tailored proposals that address the core content that employers will expect to see
Consideration of how contracts will operate between employers and providers, including pricing strategies.
