From April 2017 the Government is proposing to change the way apprenticeship training is funded and the way apprenticeships are delivered.
As a result, all employers with an annual wage bill of £3 million or more will be required to pay a 0.5% levy on wage costs above the £3 million. This levy will be deducted automatically via a company’s PAYE and will be transferred into apprenticeship vouchers for the employer to spend on apprenticeship training.
Creative & Cultural Skills, the Sector Skills Council covering the Arts, Heritage, Craft and Design sectors, in partnership with Arts Council England, would like to help employers prepare for these changes. If you would like to learn more about the apprenticeship reforms, along with how to build meaningful and sustainable apprenticeships into your business please sign up for the one of the information sessions.
If you are unable to make one of these sessions you can contact Creative & Cultural Skills separately for advice and guidance at: firstname.lastname@example.org
