Welcome to the World of Apprenticeships.

If you're aged 16+ and interested in training, re-training or upskilling through an apprenticeship, then join us on 25 February to learn more. You can even apply for apprenticeships on the night!

Our award-winning apprenticeships are designed to make you more employable – it’s one of the things we’re well-known for.

Let our expert Apprenticeship Team introduce you to the world of apprenticeships, and then speak directly to the employers who recruit apprentices.

At our Apprenticeship Open Evening you can:

• Explore the range of apprenticeships at GC
• Find out what kind of careers an apprenticeship leads to
• Discover apprenticeships across all levels, whether you’re about to leave school or considering university-level
• See what our current apprentices have to say – they’re there for you to meet!

• Early Years and Education
• Engineering
• Construction and Trade Industries
• Motor Vehicle

... You can even apply for apprenticeship pathways on the night.

Talks

As well as a Welcome Talk from our Apprenticeships Team we'll be holding a Q&A Talk with some of our current and past apprentices to give you real insight into what life is like as an apprentice. They'll be on-hand to share their stories of everyday apprentice life. You can hear all about the projects they’ve worked on, and why they chose their apprenticeships.

Please note: We have different entry times available on the evening - please select the one that is best for you. The last talk from the Employer Training & Apprenticeships team will take place at 7:15pm.

* Only prospective apprentices need to register for the event - guests are welcome to attend too, but do not need to register
