Event description

Description

In May 2017 the Government introduced the Apprenticeship levy, which has changed completely the way apprenticeships in England are funding. In addition, frameworks are changing to standards with the formation of new trailblazer employer groups, the assessments are now done at the end and there is a 20% off the job training requirement.

This is a lot to take in and still feel comfortable about taking on an apprentice. Therefore, we are running a short workshop to run over the changes, but more importantly how you can get the biggest impact from these reforms.

The event will focus on;

Apprenticeships and the levy

  • What are they

  • What is the levy

  • Future plans

What you can spend it on?

  • Up skilling

  • Developing new talent

What is your role in the training?
