Join us live for a complete introduction to choosing to your apprenticeships after finishing school or college in 2026. You’ll hear from the Admissions and Careers Teams at local Universities, Colleges, Apprenticeship Employers and Training Providers to explain more about the courses and qualifications available, the application process, entry requirements, facilities and support, what happens on results day, enrolment, grants and funding, apprenticeship wages and more.
You'll have the opportunity to get hints and tips, expert advice and insider know-how, and you can even submit your own question in our live chat box.
Evening Live Q&A Open Event – Ideal for Parents, Carers, Students and more
It’s really important to get talking about your options for when you turn 16 and 18. This one-hour online open event is designed for students, parents and carers, teachers and advisors who want to know more about choosing the apprenticeship option for further study or employment and the applications process for students who'll be starting an apprenticeship in September 2026. The event is being hosted by Stockport Council and Stockport Jobs Match as part of Post-16 Careers Week 2025.
