You may be aware of the growing importance of Apprenticeships but perhaps not know exactly what they entail or their benefits for both students and employers. They are a fantastic way for young people to gain work experience in their chosen career, complete qualifications and get paid!

This special Apprenticeships information evening is for Year 10 and 11 pupils and their parents.

The event takes place at New College, Queen’s Drive on Tuesday 14th March 2017, with arrival from 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start. It will consist of presentations as follows:-

An overview of Apprenticeships - Sharon Jones, Apprenticeships Manager

An Employer’s view of Apprenticeships - Leanne Squires, Capita

Being an Apprentice - Various speakers

There will also be the opportunity to visit a mini exhibition with stands providing information, advice and guidance either before or after the main presentations.
