Event Details

As Ofsted seeks to recruit more inspectors with apprenticeship experience, how prepared is your organisation to monitor the quality of your apprenticeship delivery under the recent reforms and the transfer from frameworks to standards? If you are new to apprenticeships do you understand how quality will be measured and by whom?

Ofsted’s 2016 annual report highlighted the increased proportion of apprenticeship programmes found to be ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’, but acknowledged that 37 per cent of those inspected were less than good.

For Apprenticeship Leads who will want to ensure that, moving to apprenticeship standards, they have in place quality assurance systems, processes and measures that take into account the full learner and employer journey from identifying need through to exit and progression support.

At the end of the workshop delegates will have a good understanding of the reforms and will have identified the necessary measures to be put in place to capture good practice when preparing for Ofsted or for working with QAA in Higher Education..
