Description

If you are looking to win more clients, reconnect with existing contacts and grow your business, then don't miss our next networking event.

The meeting will follow our usual popular format; engaging industry-related presentations and open business networking over a light finger buffet.

There is ample free parking available on site.

We will be joined by keynote speakers from Carter & George

Rhys Carter

Rhys has a diverse background in the physiotherapy field, but specialises in chronic back and neck pain and sports injuries. He uses a variety of techniques such as joint manipulation, manual therapy, myofascial release and electrotherapy, alongside advance practice skills such as diagnostic ultrasound scanning, IMS (intra-muscular stimulation) needling and shockwave therapy.

He also makes use of his qualification as a Functional Movement Specialist and Sports Performance Therapist with both athletes and the general public. His focus is always on the underlying cause of pain, and never the temporary relief of symptoms. He has worked successfully with a variety of professional and amateur athletes from a range of sports disciplines.

Prior to working at The Carter & George Practice, Rhys worked with the Singapore Institute of Sport, with Dragons Rugby in Dubai (UAE), and in private practice in London. He also worked as the lead physiotherapist at V Festival, treating international artists backstage and was the Head Physiotherapist for the Dubai 24hr motor race.

Jamie George

Jamie joined the Saracens academy at age 14 whilst attending Haileybury College. He comes from a rugby playing family, his father playing for Northampton, London Welsh and the Barbarians.

He made his first team debut in 2009, and has since become a regular in the starting line up for Saracens. He won his first Premiership title in 2010/2011, and followed this with winning consecutive titles in 2014/15 and 2015/16. He has also won back to back European Champions Cup titles. He has made over 170 appearances for Saracens and is currently considered as one of the finest front row forwards in the Northern Hemisphere.

Internationally, Jamie has become an important part of the senior England matchday squad after his first cap in 2015. He was part of the squad that won back to back 6 Nations titles, defeated Australia 3-0 and equalled the world record of consecutive test match wins. In 2017, he was included in the British and Irish Lions squad to tour New Zealand where he had a fine series, ending at 1-1 with Jamie starting all 3 tests. Off the rugby pitch, Jamie is also a Trustee of the Saracens Sports Foundation, a charity that uses the power of sport to help influence the local community with regards to education and training, health and wellbeing, participation and inclusion.
