This year we are proud to have Science broadcaster, educator and public speaker Dr Emily Grossman present her wierd and wonderful science facts at the 2016 APS christmas lecture.

Would it surprise you to discover that snakes can bite you even when they’re dead? Join TV scientist Dr Emily Grossman for this fun and interactive science quiz / show, as she explains some of her favourite weird and wonderful science facts. Guaranteed to amuse and amaze, whether you’re 8 or 80!
Dr Emily has a double first from Queens College Cambridge, a PHD in cancer research and is a regular guest on TV and Radio programs to aid the public understaning of science.
Please join us for refreshments from 5pm with the talk and questions from 5.30-6.30/7pm.
Audience: This talk is a fun,engaging and occasionally disgusting evening of science and is accessible by all.
