About this event

Aquanatal classes are for all women who have booked their care at St Thomas hospital (only).

You can join us after you have had your 20 weeks scan (Anomaly scan) to ensure all is well with your baby before attending.

Benefits of exercising during pregnancy: can improve mood, can make new friends, improves sleep, keeps you fit for birth and baby and relieves muscular pain among many others!

These classes are taught but Midwives and you don't need to be a good swimmer to attend. The water will be at your chest level.

This is also a great opportunity to meet new mums and why not going for a coffee with them after class?!

You can not attend the classes if you are bleeding or have a low-lying placenta.

If you have a medical condition, are taking medication or have any question, please contact us on aquanatalclasses@gstt.nhs.uk for advice.
