A&R Sessions - What are they?

NOT ANOTHER TALK PANEL!

The A&R sessions are conversational interviews with some of the biggest Artists/Producers/A&R Scouts/Publishers/Labels/Managers in the music industry. Hosted in front of a live audience, they are a nurturing and positive space to receive feedback on your music from professionals working commercially within the music industry. It’s a must-attend for anyone wishing to pursue a career in music behind the scenes or center stage. Attendees will receive an eventbrite email before the event with a google form to submit their music for feedback. On the night, attendees are entered into a draw where we listen to around twenty songs every session!

Previous Guests include:

About the Speakers:

Dylan is currently Senior A&R Manager at peermusic UK, the biggest independent music publisher in the world, looking after a roster of artists, writers, producers and composers, as well as running all peermusic UK socials over the past 6 years, helping set the musical strategy for the UK and working to deliver an ever changing, growing and diverse roster, as well as signing and working with chart-topping acts such as Nothing But Thieves.

Before peermusic, Dylan was A&R on the record label side, working with the likes of Warner, Atlantic and Universal. Dylan has previously worked on artist management projects with international acts such as Catherine McGrath and Victoria Canal, developing acts from their first releases across DSP’s all the way into the charts, and across an eclectic mix of genres and platforms.

Prior to this, Dylan worked on live music sessions and events with Under the Apple Tree, a platform for new artists to be discovered, and has worked on festivals both in the US and UK. Dylan’s passions lie in the discovery, nurturing and development of new musicians breaking into the wider music industry.
