Following the success of her workshop last year, Azza returns to Nour with an Arabic–Latin logo matchmaking workshop taking inspiration from the collection at Leighton House Museum, open to anyone interested in lettering and typography.
Participants are introduced to the differences between the six traditional Arabic calligraphic styles and the context in which they are most commonly used today, and will have the chance to match traditional Arabic type to Latin logos to produce their own re-imagined Arabic typography.
Participants don’t need to be native Arabic speakers. For all ages from 14 years. All materials provided.
