Green covers can be used for fertility building, as a break crop, and can bring multiple soil health benefits.

Learn about monitored green covers sown this autumn and how they can fit with 2026 EFA Greening options along with the risks and benefits from grazing with livestock.

There will be opportunity to learn of new changes to greening rules which will allow wider species mix and early grazing by livestock.
