The Aran mountain range is in southern Snowdonia, North Wales. With Dinas mawddwy to the south. Llanymawddwy to the South east. Llanuwchllyn at the shores of Bala to the north and Rhydymain to the west. Aran Fawddwy is the highest point on the Aran ridgeline and is the only peak in wales outside of North Snowdonia above 900m. Only 9.5m short of becoming a member of the welsh 3000’s.
Also one of Wales’ quietest mountainous regions, with the majority of the crowds heading further into the heart of Wales to Snowdonia. This place, to me, is a fantastic example of quiet mountain wilderness. I have walked along this range for 3 consecutive days in the past and not bumped into another soul. PURE BLISS!
Come join us in exploring this amazing part of north Wales, witnessing a remote wilderness feel with breathtaking superb panoramic view. *Weather dependant of course but i will try and pre book some nice sunshine*!
