Explore the gut microbiome at the ARCH 30th Anniversary Conference

We are delighted to announce a programme of world class speakers for the ARCH 30th Anniversary Conference in Birmingham on June 10th and 11th.

We will be joined by leading researchers in the field, including:

  • Dr Mark Davis – Renowned international expert on faecal microbiota transplantation
  • Prof Simon Carding – Leader of the Gut Biology Research Programme at the Institute of Food Research
  • Dr. Simon Goldenberg – Consultant Microbiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust
  • Dr. Gill Hart – Scientific Director at Lorisian
  • Fred Gillam – TV Presenter, author and all round mushroom and fungus expert

Keynote speaker

Mark Davis, ND is a graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine. He practices at the IBD Specialty Center in Maryland and Bright Medicine Clinic in Oregon and is on the boards of the Fecal Transplant Foundation and the Gastroenterological Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and an associate editor for the Natural Medicine Journal. Mark is internationally known as an expert on fecal microbiota transplantation and helminthic therapy, and is a frequent author and lecturer. He will be speaking at the International Congress on Naturopathic Medicine in London just two weeks after our own conference.

Talk topics

Our talks will cover a wide range of topics concerning the gut microbiome, including:

  • Touring the Intestinal Ecosystem: A detailed guide to the gut microanatomy, gut flora and fauna and how to assess and analyze the intestinal microbiota.

Gala 30th Anniversary dinner

We’ll also be holding a gala celebration dinner on the Saturday night, to which everyone is invited, including ARCH members, members of other associations and other conference attendees from the industry at large.
