Presented by Kurt Adams, Finds Liaison Office for Gloucestershire & Avon (Portable Antiquities Scheme)

Three of the most important hoards found Gloucestershire, ranging from a hoard of scrap metalwork that contained a spectacular dog figurine, a hoard of coin clippings and a collection of pots containing coins will be discussed. What did the hoards contain? Why and when were they buried? Who buried them?

An 'in person' talk only, in Wheatstone Hall, Museum of Gloucester - this event WILL NOT be available online and will not be recorded. Please only book a ticket if you are able to attend in person.
