Archaeology Guided Walk: Barry Hillfort

Join PKHT Outreach Officer Gavin Lindsay for a visit to the well-defended fort on top of Barry Hill, looking at its construction and redevelopment over a number of periods. Find out about the changing use of the hill as well as myths which have developed linking the fort to Arthurian legend. This is a Common Ground Walk delivered as part of the Cateran’s Common Wealth (www.commonculture.org.uk

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
This walk will be operating a car sharing system as car parking at Barry Hill is limited. Please gather at the Market Square car park in Alyth in plenty of time as we will leave very promptly at 13:00. Please be willing to transport a full car load of other walkers to and from the site. The 57, 128 and S5 buses all stops by the Market Square.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You don't need to bring a printed ticket but proof of the name used to make the booking is required.
