Archaeology Guided Walk: Caulfeild’s Roads: Lornty Bridge-Bridge of Cally

Follow in the footsteps of Major William Caulfeild as PKHT Outreach Officer Gavin Lindsay leads this march along the line of the military road between Lornty Bridge and Bridge of Cally. Come along to find out more about General Wade's successor, the Jacobite rebellion of 1715 and the network of roads and bridges constructed in its aftermath. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
This walk is linear and will begin from the Keathbank car park, Rattray. However, we are operating a car sharing system so will meet at the walk's finishing point, the Bridge of Cally Hotel car park where we will leave a number of cars and shuttle down to Keathbank to begin the walk. Please arrive in plenty of time as we will leave very promptly at 10:00. Both Keathbank Mills and Bridge of Cally are served by buses.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You don't need to bring a printed ticket but proof of the name used to make the booking is required.
